Monet waterlilies impressionist painting by deb hoeffner

Landing at Giverny

Monet’s water lilies paintings have been an inspiration to me since childhood when I first saw his water lilies mural triptych at the MOMA in NYC. A visit to his restored gardens and home in Giverny was the inspiration for this impressionist painting. The colors and brushstrokes of Monet have been a major influence on my work and this painting is my homage to a master artist. Currently in The Upstairs Gallery in the Garden Palette Exhibition.
